Renovated in 2003, this former distillery was used for brewing Medronho, a local Portuguese liquer known as 'Fire Water'. Now a bright and cosy one bedroomed house, the living room still retains the original workings of the old distillery. The cottage has a shaded car port from which a path leads through the olive grove to a private garden with its own entrance & terrace, shaded for outdoor dining. The house has one bedroom, a bathroom, and a well equipped kitchen leading directly onto the living room. The simple interior is decorated in a rustic style, and is ideal for a single guest or a couple.

Sleeps two (sofabed sleeps additional 2) + baby.

"We had a wonderful time. The accommodation was perfect and the setting was blissfully quiet and peaceful. I have recommended it to everyone I know and I'm sure we will be booking again."

• All on ground floor: Small porch with double doors leading to living area with sofa; kitchen with breakfast table; bathroom (combined bath and shower); 1 double bedroom with French doors leading to terrace. Washing machine. Wood burner (firewood can be purchased from the owner / keyholder). Additional electric radiator. Garden/pool furniture. Barbecue. Swimming pool (shared use).
